Dr. Phillip Kaltenthaler is a board certified optometrist dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered eye care. He earned his Doctor of Optometry from Midwestern University after completing his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Akron. Throughout his clinical training, Dr. Kaltenthaler gained experience in primary care optometry, ocular disease, specialty contact lenses, binocular vision, pediatrics, and low vision. His clinical rotations included Midwestern University, the Brownsburg VA Medical Center, and several private practices, where he developed experience managing a wide range of ocular conditions and patient needs.
His clinical experience has allowed him to develop skills in comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens fittings, ocular disease management, dry eye evaluation and treatment, and patient education. He values taking the time to understand each patient’s concerns and providing care that supports their long-term vision and ocular health.
Dr. Kaltenthaler is passionate about caring for patients of all ages and helping them maintain healthy vision throughout their lives. He is committed to continuing his professional education and staying current with developments in eye care. Outside of his professional interests, he enjoys spending time with family, working out, golfing, watching sports, and trying new foods.
